2021.10.22 11:16 FinsterFolly Buying Chilis and Recommendations Needed

I am cooking up some Chili con Carne this weekend, and I want to get a variety of dried chilis for it. In a Mexican mercado would it be OK to ask for "chilis secas", or would it be more proper to ask for specific types, i.e. Guajillos?
Any recommendations for blends of chilis that bring a good amount of flavor with a modest amount of heat?

2021.10.22 11:16 cumi-cumi Gatekeeping (in terms of talents) = good? according to Reddit Dota2

When looking at posts and criticism around the talents of this TI, there is obviously some form of gatekeeping in Dota. It seems that a lot of the Reddit community is under the impression that talents should do smaller events first then do TI after they are "good" enough. Does this mean that casters and talents should do tryouts at minor events until they are deemed worthy by the Dota community?
Some even say "you shouldn't invite a random someone outside of the community, instead of rewarding someone already working on the scene". Is this not the definition of exclusivity? how can the community grow this way?
In addition to that, another criticism that I read is that one needs enough game knowledge and skill to be able to be a proper talent? what should be the limit? does one have to be 6k mmr before they are allowed to be in a Dota event? (maybe not but I have not seen anyone with average or lower mmr in TI panel that are not criticized heavily since Redeye)
I am personally under the impression that as long as most people (literally all but one person in the last TI) in a panel are experts I am fine with it. Although it seems that I am in the minority in this Reddit community. maybe I'm a more accepting person in general, I hope someone can explain why or help me understand.
[this obviously refers to some of the criticism towards for example Frankie and Avo+ this TI, but I also want to allude to the criticism on people like Day9 on from previous TI, since this seems to be an ongoing thing]

2021.10.22 11:16 pearybeary_ Issues with hair

Every time I have to go do something important such as going to school my hair always feels uncomfortable that it bothers me so much that I can’t focus. I am always stressing and overthinking my hair all the time. It’s like I am hyper aware that there is hair on my head and the feeling of hair being on my head is so uncomfortable/weird to the point that I just want to cut it all off. I don’t care if it looks good or not, I just want it to be feel comfortable.
Not only am I unable to focus because of this but it is also physically painful. Does anyone know what this is and how to treat it?

hey! Looking for good, authentic, reasonably priced Japanese food - ideally in the centre of town, but honestly, would probably travel all over for something decent. Any ideas?
